About

We aim to inspire artists by offering a unique space surrounded by a breathtaking landscape. This special environment is intended to encourage new directions in their creative practices and bring about work that inspires them throughout their careers. It is our hope that the support we provide allows artists to clear mental space and further build their vision of themselves as an artist. Additionally, the program aims to strengthen their role in advocating for the positive impact of art on society through community engagement opportunities.

Our new community focused programming aims to engage diverse audiences in supporting the benefits of art programming.  Recent reductions in arts and culture investment in the United States have greatly impacted community arts programs and small museums – programs essential to communities across Montana.  Research has shown that art programs offer significant societal impacts in the forms of boosting mental health and social connections, job creation and, in recent years, better health outcomes for Parkinson’s patients, each of which have the potential to improve the lives of all Montanans. The intention of our programming is to bring these conversations to residents across Gallatin and Park Counties.
